Two more “grape skin” wines!

 

Winepert has introduced two more varietals in the Selection International Series of wine kits containiing grape skins.

The addition of grapeskins improves and enhances body, mouth-feel, tannin and colour. These wines are very drinkable shortly after bottling (3 months) and will continue to improve, achieving a high peak of flavour in 6-12 months and improvement for up to three years under good cellaring.

I’ve tasted each of the first 4 varietals released after 3 months now, and can vouch for the great tastes early! I’m excited to see how they come along with more ageing.

The two new varities are Italian Brunello and Italian Amarone.
